- UK Police Workforce Open Open Data Tables - a detailed breakdown of the police workforce structure, numbers, absence and composition since 2007
- London DataStore - an enormous, largely up to date trove for London open data from a variety of topics, including crime and safety
- UK Data-Service - including the Crime Survey for England and Wales
- Data.Police.UK - the official open data site for UK policing, although can sometimes be out of data
- Metropolitan Police Stats and Data Portal - many local forces now publish quite extensive dashboards around local data

- Royal Statistical Society and their Statistics and Law section - UK professional organisation promotion good use of statistics
- DataBeers London - London chapter of the DataBeers community, hosting free events (with beer)
- Meetup.com Communities - Real world meetups near you, including Data Science London, the London Data Science Festival and PyData London
- OpenIntro Statistics - a fabulous free textbook for those of us who want to brush up on our statistical foundations (and some advance stuff too)
- Kaggle and their free courses - huge online data-science community including competitions, data-sets, and other resources
